Job description: Insurance Services Manager - Insurance Services & Placement
Management level role in the Insurance Services & Placement group within the Loan Protector organization. Will serve in a lead role to provide insurance services and place new business in the Loan Protector insurance portfolio. Will develop and maintain professional, cooperative relationships with insurance carrier underwriter staff and brokerage agents. Will work directly with the VP/Director of Insurance Services & Placement to evaluate new business opportunities to maintain and grow the Loan Protector book of business. Will report directly to the Loan Protector VP/Director of Insurance Services & Placement.
Performance Objectives
• Work directly with Sales Producers and Service Management to provide evaluation and insurance guidance for placement of business opportunities
• Work directly with carrier underwriter staff to evaluate and process insurance submissions to meet business needs
• Work directly with Loan Protector VP/Director of Insurance Services & Placement to maintain collaborative carrier relationships
• Be a subject matter expert within the organization for brokerage underwriting and insurance submission matters
• Work within a company book of Property and Casualty commercial line lender placed (force placed) insurance, placed with multiple domestic and foreign carriers utilizing both admitted and surplus lines for hazard, liability, and flood coverages
• Responsibilities encompass expertise in: insurance compliance, carrier relations, brokerage level underwriting, insurance submissions and renewals, commercial lines forms, master policy construction and content, insurance guidance to staff within the organization
• Collaborate and cooperate with other managers and staff within the organization to deliver performance results and quality service levels set
• Plan and implement process improvements; identify and resolve issues
Qualifications
• 5+ years relevant Property and Casualty brokerage/underwriting experience
• Well versed in commercial lines property/liability forms and NFIP requirements
• Property and Casualty Insurance license
• Bachelor’s degree minimum preferred
• Superior communication skills with self-directed ability to organize priorities and meet deadlines
• Microsoft Office suite products
• Accredited credentialing is a plus (e.g. CPCU, CIC, CRM, ARM, AINS, CISR
